Khalid core area of expertise is Insolvency & Bankruptcy, corporate M&A, private equity and joint venture transaction advisory for domestic and cross border transactions. He advises on inbound and outbound investments, entry and exit strategies, including strategy planning and advisory for ‘getting investment ready’, management buy-outs and corporate restructuring transactions.
He has been involved in diverse corporate M&A, PE and Joint Venture assignments and transactions across industry sectors including Retail and FMCG, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Hospitality, Pharma, Power, Media and Entertainment. He also provides counsel and day to day advisory including contract drafting and contract management to various home grown and multinational companies across sectors.
Khalid has over the years worked with multinational companies on various Corporate Litigation, Compliance, Environment, Health and Safety including labour laws compliance and risk mitigation assignments.
Khalid regularly advises foreign and Indian corporates, entrepreneurs, funds, start-ups, social business enterprises and other organisations on a range of legal, regulatory and governance related issues.
